my vacation was fabulous. i didn’t even leave town. well, not really. i went to the airport to pick up my sweetheart and we spent a much-needed long weekend together. my daughter’s school was holding their annual field day on that friday and so needless to say, it was a great family day. i enjoyed my mini-break from the ‘net and “working” and was happy to see a couple of ebay listings end with flower pens going to a new home.
the end of the school year brings much activity to our household and though i will continue to list flower pens on ebay and be open to custom orders, i will not be listing as many odds-n-ends until the end of june.
i will be taking another mini-vacation in june as i’m hosting my family’s annual reunion on father’s day weekend. for 5 full days, i will be no where near a computer OR supplies to create flower pens… if this time period applies to you, email me and we’ll try to work something out early. more details will be posted here regarding this after the first of june.
our flower pens are also listed on etsy. i have actually received an email requesting a specific style via etsy, which is fantastic as we’ve only been listed on etsy for a short time… i was expecting it to take a bit longer than it did for our first nibble of interest. THANK YOU!!!!!

i am going to take a mini-break during the month of may. i will be away from my computer from may 10th until may 13th. i will return all emails on may 14th.
what this means to you is this…
- i will not be checking my personal, ebay, or etsy email addresses for new correspondence.
- i will not be available to answer questions during this time.
- i will not be available to take new orders during this time.
- if you have already placed an order or won an auction prior to may 10th AND paid for your item(s), then it is possible that your item might ship during this time BUT i make no guarantees.
- i guarantee that i will respond to your email on either may 14 or may 15.
- i will go through all correspondence on may 14 and respond to the most urgent first.
- i will have returned all messages left during my absense on may 15 at the absolute latest.

I will be leaving on vacation on Tuesday, October 3rd and will return on Tuesday, October 10th.
If an order has been placed and paid for prior to Monday at 12 noon CT, then the order will ship on Tuesday morning. If not, then the order will be filled when I return. I will return all emails and non-emergency phone calls on Wednesday, October 11th.

nearly a month has passed since i last updated this page… i have been busy - very busy. the first 2 weeks of the month found me in front of a classroom (substitute teacher) & last week, i helped out a couple of friends get ready for their garage sale. ~whew~
business is doing well.
a friend has a flower pot full of pens on her desk @ school - a co-worker stopped by to ask where she got ‘em (from me, of course) and well, long story short - it was decided that these were perfect for the teachers (theme: blooming).
sometime this summer - i will be taking a vacation (no more than 14 days) - this will be my first vacation since starting this business.
